Depending on your role (organization administrator, team leader, participant, parent/guardian, or donor), we may collect:

B. Payment Information
FundRosters does not store full payment card numbers. All payments are processed by secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe). We may receive limited transaction details, including:
- Donor name (if provided)

C. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:

- Device identifiers

3. Publicly Displayed Information (Privacy-First)
To reduce privacy risk—especially for youth participants—FundRosters limits the personal information displayed publicly.
Public fundraisers may display:
- Participant first name and last initial only
- Team or organization name
- Fundraising totals and progress
Donor display (when enabled):
- First name and last initial, or
- Anonymous (donor-controlled)
Email addresses, phone numbers, and full last names are never publicly displayed.
Organizations control fundraiser settings, but FundRosters enforces these privacy limitations by default.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
FundRosters does not sell personal information.
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
A. Service Providers
We share limited data with trusted third-party vendors that support our operations, including:
- Payment processors
- Hosting and infrastructure providers

All service providers are contractually required to safeguard personal information.
B. Organization Administrators
Organization administrators may export fundraiser and donor data (such as donor names, emails, and donation totals) for internal use.
Once exported, data is governed by the organization's own policies. FundRosters is not responsible for how exported data is used outside the platform.

We may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of FundRosters and its users.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
FundRosters is intended for use by organizations and adults.
Participants under the age of 13 may appear in fundraisers only with parental or organizational authorization. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate consent.
If you believe a child's information has been collected improperly, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to:

Organizations may retain exported data independently.
