Getting Started
Click 'Get Started' on our homepage and follow the simple signup process. You'll need to provide your email, create a password, and set up your first organization. It takes less than 5 minutes.
Yes! Our Free plan is completely free with no hidden costs or time limits. You can create an organization, run 1 active fundraiser with up to 50 participants, and archive unlimited past fundraisers. We only charge a 5% platform fee on donations received. Paid plans have 0% platform fee.
FundRosters is designed for any team-based organization: youth sports teams, swim clubs, school groups, dance teams, scout troops, church groups, and more. If you have a team that needs to raise money, we can help.
From your team dashboard, click 'Add Member' and enter their email address. They'll receive an invitation to join. You can also generate a shareable invite link for coaches to distribute.
Payments & Donations
Donors can pay with any major credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, the same payment processor used by companies like Amazon and Shopify.
Funds are paid out on a rolling basis via Stripe. After each donation, money typically arrives in your bank account within 3–5 business days. No need to wait for your fundraiser to end.
There are two types of fees: 1) Platform fee — 5% on the Free plan, 0% on Starter and Pro plans, and 2) Stripe processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) charged by our payment processor. Upgrading to a paid plan eliminates the platform fee entirely.
Yes, donors automatically receive an email receipt after every donation. The receipt includes the donation amount, date, and organization name for their records.
Yes, organization admins can issue full or partial refunds through the FundRosters dashboard. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days.
Features & Functionality
Each participant gets a unique share link they can send to friends and family. When someone donates through that link, the donation is attributed to that participant on the leaderboard.
Leaderboards automatically rank participants by the amount they've raised. Rankings update in real-time as donations come in. You can have both individual and team leaderboards.
Yes! You can add your team photo, write a compelling description, set fundraising goals, and choose a custom URL. Paid plans can also add custom branding and remove FundRosters branding.
Mobile apps for iOS and Android are coming soon! In the meantime, our website is fully mobile-responsive and works great on phones and tablets.
Account & Billing
Go to Settings > Billing in your dashboard and select the plan you want to upgrade to.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You'll continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, then you'll be moved to the Free plan.
Go to Settings > Payouts and click 'Update Bank Account'. You'll be redirected to Stripe to securely update your banking information.
All plans currently include 1 organization. If you need to manage multiple organizations, please contact our support team.
